Workshop I: (4.5 hour training) Basic Theory and Skills of Peer Counseling. This Introductory Workshop provides an overview to Peer Counseling. Available to individuals and groups seeking to learn the basic theory and methods of the Peer Counseling Project.
Workshop II: (4.5 hour training) This session of the program will give you an opportunity to reflect on what you learned in Workshop I, and practice the skills needed for peer counseling in a supervised environment. Note: Fundamentals I is a pre-requisite to take this course.
After successful completion of Fundamentals I & II, you may apply to be part of the Peer Counseling Group Supervision program, where you will participate in 6 weekly sessions. Completion of this program is intended to prepare you to manage your own peer counseling group. Registration opens in the Fall.
